DAY 1 • SATURDAY: DUBROVNIK (D)
Check-in from 13.00 on. At 19.00 pm we’ll have a welcome meeting followed by dinner. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
DAY 2 • SUNDAY: DUBROVNIK – NATIONAL PARK MLJET (B,L)
Transfer to the old town for the guided walking tour of this magical town. Your local guide will lead you to Dubrovnik’s most significant historical landmarks – the bustling Stradun street, Cathedral, Franciscan Monastery, Rector`s Palace , D’Onofrio’s Fountain, Orlando’s Column and many other attractions of this precious and beautiful UNESCO site (you won’t enter any museum or church). For those with more enthusiasm we recommend a walk on top of the 1940 m long city walls! Around noon transfer back to the ship. Then we start our Croatia Island Cruise to Mljet National Park. Lunch on board. Arrival to island of Mljet in late afternoon. Overnight in Mljet.
DAY 3 • MONDAY: NATIONAL PARK MLJET – KORCULA (B,L)
After breakfast you’ll have free time to explore National Park Mljet (entrance fee not included), known for its immense beauty, covered by thick forest. Visit the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park and enjoy the boat ride to the St Mary Isle to visit an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey and a Church dating back to the 12th Century. Lunch will be served on board as we continue our cruise toward the Island of Korcula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. Guided tour through narrow streets of one of the best preserved medieval cities of the Mediterranian. Visit the house where Marco Polo was born. Here you will find more legends, tales and monuments than anywhere else. There is a big choice of restaurants to enjoy your gourmet experience and there are numerous bars and clubs for those looking for evening entertainment. Overnight in Korčula.
DAY 4 • TUESDAY: KORCULA – VIS (B,L)
Continue to the island of Vis, famous by its intact nature, sandy beaches and beautiful bays. For years it was a strategic naval Yugoslav base and closed to the public. Due to this ‘isolation’, Vis has a special charm – they say it gives you a feeling of “the Mediterranean as it once was”… Arrival is planed in the afternoon. You will have free time to look around and dine in one of the local restaurants. Overnight in the port of Vis.
DAY 5 • WEDNESDAY: VIS – BISEVO BLUE CAVE – HVAR(B,L)
Early morning cruise towards tiny island of Biševo to visit the natural wonder Blue Cave. Between 10am and 3pm, the sun’s rays pass through an underwater opening, illuminating the cave in a blue light. Continue towards Hvar, the most popular Croatian island. Lunch on board. Afternoon arrival followed by a short presentation of lavender products and a walking tour of the town’s historical landmarks: the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower, and the oldest community theatre in Europe which was founded in 1612. Hike up to the town fort overlooking the harbour to get some lovely scenic views. In the evening, you can enjoy the vibe of bustling promenade, well-appointed cafes, wine stores, shops and restaurants. Overnight in the port.
DAY 6 • THURSDAY: HVAR – BOL – PUCISCA (B,L)
Morning departure to the seaside resort of Bol on Brac Island, claimed to have the most beautiful and the most photographed beach in Croatia, called Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape). Immerse yourself in a bath of sun and sea water or explore the town of Bol. After lunch, we’ll continue cruising to visit Pučišća, the biggest settlement on the island of Brač. This is a lovely place sitting inside a deep fjord. The island of Brač is also named as the homeland of ‘the Croatian marble’. It is interesting that here in Pučišća is still operating stonemasonry school following a longtime tradition of marble working. Spend a night in this very quiet town. Overnight in Pučišća.
DAY 7 • FRIDAY: PUCISCA – OMIS – SPLIT (B,L,)
After breakfast, we’ll start our cruise to Omiš, an ancient town with city walls, fortresses and stone churches. It is situated at the estuary of river Cetina surrounded with massive gorges. Lunch will be served in Omiš after relaxed walk. The last stop of our Croatia Island Cruise is the city of Split. Its historic old town is under UNESCO protection. Our English speaking guide will lead you to the old part of the city. Of special interest is the magnificent Diocletian palace, once the Roman Emperor’s retirement estate and today a lively city center. After the tour you will have free time to explore the city on your own. Overnight in Split.
DAY 8 • SATURDAY • SPLIT (B)
After breakfast, the time has come to say farewell to all your new friends.
The ship is 38.5 m long, 8 m wide constructed in 2014. It has 19 ensuite cabins on the main and lower deck, and all are fully air-conditioned with LCD TV.
Modern non-smoking double or twin cabins are fully equipped with A/C, safe deposit box, fire alarm, smoke detectors, Shower, WC and bathroom toiletries, hair dryer, lifejackets, luggage space under the bed, cupboard & wardrobe cabinet with window or porthole.
