DAY 1 • ZADAR (D))
Check-in from 14.00 h onwards. Meet the cruise director and a crew. Dinner on board. Overnight in Zadar.
DAY 2 • ZADAR – SALI (B, L)
After breakfast, you go on a walking tour through the historic old town of Zadar with Roman ruins, medieval churches and cosmopolitan cafes. The most important landmark is the church of St. Donat from the 9th century. After the tour, we start our deluxe Croatia Cruise to Sali, a lovely unspoiled town on the island Dugi Otok. Later in the day, you have time to walk around Sali and have dinner independently.
DAY 3 • SALI – NATIONAL PARK KORNATI – NATIONAL PARK KRKA – ŠIBENIK (B, L)
On this day, you will enjoy touring two famous national parks, Kornati and Krka. First, you sail through N. P. Kornati, the archipelago of 89 islands, islets, and reefs, and then you visit N.P. Krka with its breathtaking waterfalls. In the afternoon, you reach the historic city of Šibenik. It is located in central Dalmatia, where the river Krka flows into the Adriatic Sea.
DAY 4 : ŠIBENIK – TROGIR – SPLIT (B, L)
In the morning, you leave Šibenik for a visit to the small town of Trogir, which has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites for its Venetian architecture. Then, continue a short sail to the city of Split, also a historic place under UNESCO protection. Enjoy your walking tour of the old part of the city. Of particular interest is the magnificent Diocletian palace, once the Roman Emperor’s retirement estate and today a lively city centre. Dinner on board and overnight in Split.
DAY 5 • SPLIT – BOL – HVAR (B, L)
Morning departure to the seaside resort of Bol on Brac Island claimed to have the most beautiful and the most photographed beach in Croatia, called Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape). Immerse yourself in a bath of sun and sea water or explore the town of Bol. Next, we continue our Deluxe Croatia Cruise towards Hvar, the most famous Croatian island. Lunch on board. Afternoon arrival followed by a walking tour of the town’s historical landmarks: the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower and the oldest community theatre in Europe founded in 1612. Finally, hike up to the town fort overlooking the harbour to get some lovely scenic views. Overnight.
DAY 6: HVAR–KORČULA – NATIONAL PARK MLJET (B, L, CD)
After breakfast, you continue the Deluxe Croatia cruise toward the Island of Korcula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. There you go on a guided tour through the narrow streets of Korčula City, one of the best-preserved medieval cities of the Mediterranian. Next, visit the house where Marco Polo was born. Here you will find more legends, tales and monuments than anywhere else. Then the cruise continues to Mljet island, known for its immense beauty, covered by a thick forest. Arrival in the afternoon and then free time to explore Mljet National Park to see famous salt lakes and enjoy the boat ride to the St Mary Isle to visit an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey and a Church dating back to the 12th century. This evening you enjoy the Captain’s dinners with live entertainment.
DAY 7 • MLJET – DUBROVNIK (B, L)
You sail to Dubrovnik, the ‘Pearl of Adriatic’ in the morning. Upon arrival, your local guide will lead you to Dubrovnik’s most significant historical landmarks – the bustling Stradun street, Cathedral, Franciscan Monastery, Rector’s Palace, D’Onofrio’s Fountain, Orlando’s Column and many other attractions of this precious and beautiful UNESCO site. We recommend a walk on top of the 1940 m long city walls for those with more enthusiasm! Enjoy an evening of romance as you will be staying in Dubrovnik overnight.
DAY 8 • DUBROVNIK – DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast and then transfer to Dubrovnik Airport for your departure flight or to your hotel in Dubrovnik
