A wonderful one-way cruise along the Adriatic coast where you spend days visiting picturesque towns, admiring beautiful island scenery and swimming in crystal clear waters. On this seven day cruise, you visit the charming islands of Losinj, Vis, Hvar, Brac, and explore the historic cities of Pula, Zadar, and Split. One of the highlights of this cruise is sailing through Kornati National Park, where you enjoy the scenic views of more than 80 uninhabited islands, islets, and reefs.
DAY 1 • SPLIT (D)
Check-in from 14.00 h onwards. Split is the biggest city in Dalmatia. Its historical part is under UNESCO protection. After setting you’ll go on a walking tour. Your guide will show you historical and cultural places of interest. The main attraction is the magnificent Diocletian palace, once the Roman Emperor’s retirement estate and today a lively city centre. After the sightseeing, you’ll have free time to explore this vibrant city on your own. You will meet the cruise director and a crew in the evening and have a welcome drink and dinner—overnight in Split.
DAY 2 • SPLIT – HVAR – VIS (B, L)
After breakfast, you set sail towards Hvar, the most famous Croatian island. After arrival, join a walking tour of the town’s historical landmarks: the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower and the oldest community theatre in Europe founded in 1612. Next, hike up to the town fort overlooking the harbour to get some lovely scenic views. Then the Adriatic coast cruise continues to the island of Vis, famous for its intact nature, sandy beaches and beautiful bays. Vis was a strategic naval Yugoslav base and closed to the public for years. Due to this ‘isolation’, Vis has a unique charm – they say it gives you a feeling of ‘the Mediterranean as it once was ‘… Arrival is planned for the afternoon. You will have free time to look around and dine in one of the local restaurants—overnight in the port of Vis.
DAY 3 • VIS – BIŠEVO (BLUE CAVE) – PRIMOŠTEN (B, L, D)
Early morning cruise towards the tiny island of Biševo to visit the natural wonder – Blue Cave. Between 10 am and 3 pm, the sun’s rays pass through an underwater opening, illuminating the cave in blue light. In the afternoon, you arrive in Primošten, a lovely small town located between Šibenik and Trogir. Free time to explore the Old town, situated on a small island. You will be transferred to the mainland in the early evening to enjoy an authentic heritage dinner. Overnight in Primošten.
DAY 4 • PRIMOŠTEN – N.P. KORNATI – ZADAR (B, L)
In the early morning, you depart to the Kornati National Park, where you enjoy the scenic views of more than 80 uninhabited islands, islets, and reefs. In the afternoon, you arrive in the historic old town of Zadar with Roman ruins, medieval churches and cosmopolitan cafes. The most important landmarks are the Roman Forum from the 1st century, the church of Sv. Donat from the 9th century, mighty city walls with a City gate from 16 century. Overnight in Zadar.
DAY 5 • ZADAR – MALI LOŠINJ (B, L)
This day the Adriatic coast cruise heads to the island of Lošinj, the most popular island on the northern Adriatic, famous for its green landscape and mild Mediterranean climate. Arrival to Mali Lošinj, the charming small town. There you visit the Museum of Apoxyomenos, dedicated to the ancient statue of an athlete found in the sea not far from the island. Later you have some free time to wander around this lovely town—overnight in Mali Lošinj.
DAY 6 • MALI LOŠINJ – N.P. BRIJUNI – PULA (B, L, CD)
After breakfast, cruise to National Park Brijuni, the archipelago which consists of 14 islands, is well known for its preserved beautiful nature. The final destination on today’s cruise is Pula, the city that has existed for more than 2000 years. Upon arrival, you will have some free time to explore the city with its main attraction, Roman Arena (amphitheatre). Then, return to the ship for a Captain’s diner with live entertainment. Overnight in Pula.
DAY 7 • PULA – OPATIJA (B, L, T )
This day you will enjoy the magnificent views when you cruise along the picturesque shores of the Istra peninsula towards Opatija, the town with a very long tradition of tourism. After some free time upon arrival, you will have a walking tour where the guide will explain the history of this exciting town and show you the most important monuments. In the evening you’ll have free time to have a walk on the beautiful seaside promenade and to enjoy dinner in one of the many good restaurants. Overnight in Opatija
DAY 7 • OPATIJA (B)
After breakfast, the time has come to say farewell to all your new friends. Then, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
