DAY 1 • SATURDAY: SPLIT (D)
Check-in from 13.00 on. At 19.00 pm we’ll have a welcome meeting an dinner will be served at 19.30 when Captain will introduce you to the crew and your fellow passengers. Overnight in Split.
DAY 2 • SUNDAY: SPLIT – BISEVO BLUE CAVE – VIS (B,L)
In the early morning, our Dalmatia Coast cruise sails towards tiny island of Biševo to visit the natural wonder Blue Cave. Between 10am and 3pm, the sun’s rays pass through an underwater opening, illuminating the cave in a blue light. Continue to the island of Vis, famous by its intact nature, sandy beaches and beautiful bays. For years, it was a strategic naval Yugoslav base and closed to the public. Due to this ‘isolation’, Vis has a special charm – they say it gives you a feeling of “the Mediterranean as it once was”… Try some exquisite wine sorts in one of the Vis traditional wineries. Overnight in the port of Vis.
DAY 3 • MONDAY: VIS – NATIONAL PARK MLJET, MLJET ISLAND (B,L, Captain’s dinner)
After breakfast, we’ll cruise to Mljet National Park (entrance fee included), known for its immense beauty, covered by thick forest. Lunch will be served on board and there will be some swim stops along our way. After arrival in the afternoon, you will have free time to visit the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park and enjoy the boat ride to the St Mary Isle to visit an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey and a Church dating back to the 12th Century. Captain’s dinner in the evening. Overnight in Mljet.
DAY 4 • TUESDAY: CRUISE TO DUBROVNIK (B,L)
Early morning departure to Dubrovnik along the shores of Mljet and the Elaphite islands. Before docking, we will cruise alongside the old Dubrovnik city walls while lunch will be served on deck. After docking, transfer to the old town for the guided walking tour of this magical town. Your local guide will lead you to Dubrovnik’s most significant historical landmarks – the bustling Stradun street, Cathedral, Franciscan Monastery, Rector`s Palace , D’Onofrio’s Fountain, Orlando’s Column and many other attractions of this precious and beautiful UNESCO site (you won’t enter any museum or church). For those with more enthusiasm we recommend a walk on top of the 1940 m long city walls! In the evening return transfer to the port or you have time at leisure for dinner in the old town and later return on your own. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
DAY 5 • WEDNESDAY: DUBROVNIK – ELAPHITI ISLANDS – KORCULA (B,L)
In the morning, we start our cruise towards the Island of Korcula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. There will be stop for a swim before lunch. We will arrive in Korčula town in the afternoon. Our English speaking guide will do a tour through narrow streets of one of the best preserved medieval cities of the Mediterranian. Visit the house where Marco Polo was born. Here you will find more legends, tales and monuments than anywhere else. There is a big choice of restaurants to enjoy your gourmet experience and there are numerous bars and clubs for those looking for evening entertainment. Overnight in Korčula.
DAY 6 • THURSDAY: KORCULA – HVAR, HVAR ISLAND (B,L)
Morning start of our Dalmatia coast cruise to Hvar, the most popular Croatian island. There will be some ‘swim stops’ and lunch will be served on board while cruising. Upon arrival, a local English speaking guide will walk you through many historical landmarks: the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower, and the oldest community theatre in Europe which was founded in 1612. Hike up to the town fort overlooking the harbour to get some lovely scenic views. In the evening you can enjoy the vibe of bustling promenade, well-appointed cafes, wine stores, shops and restaurants. Overnight in Hvar.
DAY 7 • FRIDAY: HVAR – BOL – SPLIT (B,L)
Morning departure to the seaside resort of Bol on Brac Island, claimed to have the most beautiful and the most photographed beach in Croatia, called Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape). Immerse yourself in a bath of sun and sea water or explore the town of Bol. Lunch on board. After pleasant cruise, we’ll arrive to Split, our last stop on this cruise. Split is the biggest city in Dalmatia. Its historic part is under UNESCO protection. Our English speaking guide will show you historical and cultural places of interest. The main attraction is the magnificent Diocletian palace, once the Roman Emperor’s retirement estate and a lively city center today. After the sightseeing you’ll have free time to explore Split on your own. Overnight in Split.
DAY 8 • SATURDAY: SPLIT
It is time to say farewell to all your new friends after having breakfast. (B)
