From Croatia to Serbia via Slovenia

After breakfast you have a walking tour showing this beautiful city's highlights. You will visit the Franciscan Monastery with Europe's third oldest pharmacy, the Rector's Palace, Dominican Monastery Orlando's Column and Sponza Palace. The rest of the day, you have time to explore this beautiful city on your own. Overnight.

Travel north along the spectacular Adriatic coast, past old fishing villages and new resorts, to Split. Dinner and overnight in Split.

After breakfast, you start with a sightseeing tour of the city with typical cobbled Dalmatian streets in the historical centre built around the remains of the Palace of Emperor Diocletian from the 4th century AD. Next, learn about the area's fascinating history as you see Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle, the Cathedral and other Renaissance and Gothic structures. Overnight in Split.

In the morning, you depart to Trogir, a town beautifully set on a small island within medieval walls with mazelike streets. Trogir is known for its Romanesque and Renaissance architecture which flourished under Venetian rule with its magnificent Cathedral of St Lawrence. Then drive to the Plitvice National Park, wonderful nature protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed Plitvice Lakes National Park comprises 16 terraced lakes interconnected by stunning waterfalls and densely-wooded hills. Walk among the waterfalls, take a boat ride through the crystal water and take some magnificent photos—Dinner and overnight in the Plitvice region.

After breakfast, we head back to the coast. We drive along the beautiful bay of Kvarner and have a short break in Opatija, a popular resort. Then go to Postojna and visit the famous cave, one of the largest in the world, among Slovenia's most popular attractions, and its stalagmite and stalactite formations are unequalled anywhere. An electric train will take you into the caves and then enjoy the underground karst world, where nature was the leading architect through the millennia and has formed amazing formations. Then we continue to Bled, Slovenia's most popular tourist resort, Dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, sightseeing of this charming town, the lakeshore and the Bled Castle with scenic views. The positive energy of this place was discovered very early. It became a pilgrimage site and later a health resort. The rest of the day is at leisure. Perhaps you visit the quaint island in the lake by a typical boat called »pletna« and ring a wishing bell for good luck. But be careful what you wish for; the wishes come true! Overnight.

After breakfast, we drive to Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. The guided tour will take you to the baroque old town, Prešeren Square, Congress Square, the City Hall, the Cathedral, the Butchers' Bridge, the Dragon Bridge, and the open market, which is very popular with the locals. Continue to Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia— dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Croatia's capital, which will reveal its most important cultural and architectural attractions: the Cathedral, the main Ban Jelacic square, the fortified Upper Town, the city's historical centre, St. Mark's Church with its multicoloured roof, the Croatian National Theatre—the rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast, we head to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion from Belgrade. Our first stop is Krusedol Monastery, a significant monastery founded in the 16th century. Next, we will visit Sremski Karlovci, a charming town known for its beautiful baroque and neoclassical architecture. After a brief orientation tour, we will head to one of the famous local wineries for lunch and wine tasting. Then, we'll explore the intriguing Petrovaradin fortress, which features fascinating underground trenches and tunnels. Our last stop is the city of Novi Sad, where you'll have a quick orientation tour and some free time. Return to Belgrade and your hotel.

Start your day with a morning sightseeing tour of Belgrade. Visit the impressive Kalemegdan Fortress, situated at the confluence of the Sava and Danube Rivers. Explore Republic Square and Knez Mihailova Street, popular destinations in the city. See the iconic Saint Sava Temple, the largest Orthodox Church in Belgrade. Visit Tito's Memorial before continuing to Avala. The rest of the day is free to explore at your leisure. In the afternoon, an optional excursion to Topola, a historically significant site associated with the First Serbian Uprising. Near Topola is the St. George's Church, also known as Oplenac, the burial place of the Ducal and Royal Family of Serbia and Yugoslavia. After a lunch break, we will return to Belgrade. The evening is free.
