DAY 1 • OPATIJA – PULA (D)
Check-in from 14.00 h onwards. Meet the cruise director and a crew, have a welcome drink. Opatija is a famous seaside resort, and it has a long tradition of tourism. This day you will enjoy the magnificent views when having a cruise along the picturesque shores of the Istra peninsula towards Pula, the city that has existed for more than 2000 years. Upon arrival, you will have some free time to explore the city with its main attraction, Roman Arena (amphitheatre). Then, return to the ship for a welcome dinner, overnight in Pula.
DAY 2 • PULA – NP BRIJUNI – MALI LOŠINJ (B, L)
After breakfast, your cruise to nearby National Park Brijuni, the archipelago which consists of 14 islands, well known for its preserved beautiful nature. The cruise then heads to the isle of Lošinj, which is the most popular island on the northern Adriatic. It is famous for its green landscape and the mild Mediterranean climate—arrival to Mali Lošinj, the charming small town. There you visit the Museum of Apoxyomenos, dedicated to the ancient statue of an athlete found in the sea not far from the island. Later you have some free time to wander around this lovely town—overnight in Mali Lošinj.
DAY 3 • MALI LOŠINJ – ZADAR (B, L)
After breakfast, you start your Adriatic cruise towards the historic old town of Zadar with Roman ruins, medieval churches and cosmopolitan cafes. The most important landmarks are the Roman Forum from the 1st century, the church of Sv. Donat from the 9th century, mighty city walls with a City gate from 16 century. Overnight in Zadar.
DAY 4 • ZADAR – NP KORNATI – PRIMOŠTEN (B, L, CD)
Departure from Zadar to start sailing through Kornati National Park, where you enjoy the scenic views of more than 80 uninhabited islands, islets, and reefs. In the afternoon, you arrive in Primošten, a lovely small town located between Šibenik and Trogir. Free time to explore the Old town, situated on a small island. In the evening, You enjoy Captain’s dinner with live entertainment on board. Overnight in Primošten
DAY 5 • PRIMOŠTEN – VIS (B, L)
Continue to the island of Vis, famous for its intact nature, sandy beaches and beautiful bays. Vis was a strategic naval Yugoslav base for years and closed to the public. Due to this ‘isolation’, Vis has a unique charm – they say it gives you a feeling of ‘the Mediterranean as it once was ‘… Arrival is planned for the afternoon. You will have free time to look around and dine in one of the local restaurants. Overnight in the port of Vis.
DAY 6 • VIS – BIŠEVO (BLUE CAVE) – HVAR /STARI GRAD (B, L)
Early morning cruise towards the tiny island of Biševo to visit the natural wonder – Blue Cave. Between 10 am and 3 pm, the sun’s rays pass through an underwater opening, illuminating the cave in blue light. Continue the Adriatic cruise towards Hvar, the most famous Croatian island. Lunch on board. Afternoon arrival and then a walking tour of the town’s historical landmarks: the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower and the oldest community theatre in Europe founded in 1612. Hike up to the town fort overlooking the harbour to get some lovely scenic views. A bus excursion will follow the guided tour to Stari Grad, the oldest town on the island. Overnight in Stari Grad
DAY 7 • STARI GRAD – BOL – SPLIT (B, L, D)
Morning departure to the seaside resort of Bol on Brac Island claimed to have the most beautiful and the most photographed beach in Croatia, called Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape). Immerse yourself in a bath of sun and sea water or explore the town of Bol. Then you’ll sail out for Split, our last stop on this cruise. Split is the biggest city in Dalmatia. Its historical part is under UNESCO protection. Your guide will show you historical and cultural places of interest on a walking tour. The main attraction is the magnificent Diocletian palace, once the Roman Emperor’s retirement estate and today a lively city centre. After the sightseeing, you’ll have free time to explore this lively city on your own. Then you return on the ship and have dinner onboard. Overnight in Split.
DAY 8 • SPLIT (B)
After breakfast, the time has come to say farewell to all your new friends. Then, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
