DAY 1 • ZAGREB – ARRIVAL (D)
You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free until your Welcome Dinner, where you will get to know your tour director and other group members.
DAY 2 • ZAGREB (B)
This morning, travel through the heart of the Old Town to see how its history has influenced this city for over 700 years. Highlights include St. Mark’s Church and Cathedral, Parliament, and Government Palace. The rest of the day is free to explore its winding streets! Night in Zagreb.
DAY 3 • ZAGREB – LJUBLJANA – BLED (B, D)
After breakfast head to Ljubljana, Slovenia’s capital. Its historic center is filled with cobbled streets and colorful buildings. Get your fill of city sightseeing: visit a traditional open-air market and the town hall, then make your way to the popular Three Bridges. Continue to Bled in late afternoon.
DAY 4 • BLED (B, D)
Bled is one of those places that will steal your heart and never let go. Surrounded by the Julian Alps, this scenic town is considered one of Slovenia’s most beautiful destinations, with a history going back to Roman times. A sightseeing tour features the charming town and the lakeshore, and visits imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. The balance of the day is at leisure. Perhaps join an optional excursion visiting the small island in the middle of the lake, browse through the shops and boutiques, or ax and enjoy the enchanting scenery.
DAY 5 • BLED – POSTOJNA – OPATIJA – PLITVICE (B, D)
Journey on to Postojna Cave, one of Europe’s largest subterranean systems. Take a ride on a miniature electric train for a closer look at the immense chambers and passages below this UNESCO World Heritage site. Afterward, travel along Croatia’s beautiful bay, to the former spa resort town of Opatija. Enjoy free time in this unique coastal city, best known for its Italian-style villas and summer entertainment. After some free time, continue towards Plitvice Lakes.
DAY 6 • PLITVICE – SPLIT (B, D)
After breakfast visit Plitvice Lakes National Park, known for its stunning landscape of sixteen terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. After the tour, head to Split. Overnight in Split.
DAY 7 • SPLIT (B)
Embark on a sightseeing tour to one of Croatia’s oldest cities. Discover the historic inner city, built around Diocletian’s Palace, and see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage. Explore Renaissance and Gothic structures, including Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. The rest of the day at leisure to stroll through the beautiful streets of Split or enjoy at the beach.
DAY 8 • SPLIT (B)
Travel south along the spectacular Adriatic coast, past old fishing villages and new resorts, to the city of Dubrovnik. Rest of the day is free.
DAY 9 • DUBROVNIK (B, L)
On your walking tour of Old Dubrovnik, step into the world of the Rector’s Palace. Marvel at the Bell Tower Clock and Orlando’s Column, then stop at Sponza Palace and visit the Dominican Monastery to see one of the world’s oldest pharmacies. The rest of the day is free. Night in Dubrovnik.
DAY 10 • DUBROVNIK (B, D)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport DBV for your departure flight.
