Welcome to Slovenia! Meet your tour director and fellow travellers before enjoying your first evening in the country’s charming capital. Stroll along the lively riverfront and take in the welcoming atmosphere of Ljubljana’s old town.

A guided morning tour introduces you to Ljubljana’s highlights, including Prešeren Square, the Triple Bridge, the Central Market and Town Hall. Ride the funicular to Ljubljana Castle for sweeping city views.
Spend the afternoon exploring at your own pace. Enjoy a riverside coffee or browse the local boutiques. Optional: Slovenian folklore dinner.

Travel south to Croatia’s capital. On a guided walk through Zagreb’s historic heart, explore Gornji Grad and Kaptol with their churches, palaces and museums.
Enjoy the afternoon at leisure to visit galleries, stroll through parks or relax in one of the city’s many cafés.

Visit Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its turquoise waters and cascading falls. Wooden paths lead through forests and over crystal-clear lakes.
After lunch, continue to Opatija, once a grand Habsburg resort. Stroll along its elegant seaside promenade before settling in for the night.

Spend the day exploring Istria, a sunlit peninsula where history and culture meet the sea. Visit Rovinj, a romantic old town rising from the water, and stop at a local agritourism estate for tastings of Istrian delicacies. Continue to Poreč, known for its cobbled streets and the UNESCO-listed Euphrasian Basilica.

Return to Opatija for free time by the Adriatic.

Travel north to Predjama Castle, a fortress dramatically built into a cliff. Continue to Postojna Cave, one of Europe’s largest cave systems, where an underground train takes you through a maze of impressive formations.
After lunch, head to the Julian Alps for an overnight stay surrounded by peaceful mountain scenery.

Spend the day in Slovenia’s alpine gems. Visit Lake Bled with its medieval castle and the island church, reached by traditional pletna boat. After lunch, continue to Lake Bohinj, the largest in Slovenia, and take the cable car to Mount Vogel for views over Triglav National Park.
In the evening, share a farewell dinner with your group in a stunning alpine setting.

Enjoy some free time before your transfer to the airport. Depart with lasting memories of Slovenia and Croatia’s landscapes, culture and warm-hearted people.
