Slovenia's Natural Wonders: A Scenic Hiking Adventure

After breakfast, we embark on a scenic journey to the Pisnica River Valley, capturing the beauty of Jasna Lake along the way. Our trail ascends to Krnica, situated at an elevation of 1113 meters, offering fresh mountain air and captivating views. In the afternoon, we'll head back to Kranjska Gora for another night.

Hiking Time: Approximately 4 hours | Elevation Gain: 320 m

The day's hike takes us through the scenic Tamar Valley and to the Zelenci nature reserve, the source of the Sava River. We'll visit Planica, known for Nordic skiing, and then hike up through varied alpine terrain to reach the Vršič Pass at 1611 meters. Here, enjoy stunning views and learn about the history of Russian prisoners during WWI. We'll finish the day back in Kranjska Gora.

Hiking Time: Approximately 4.5 hours |Elevation Gain: 610 m

As we venture into Triglav National Park, the dense spruce forest of Pokljuka serves as our gateway to the stunning Viševnik Mountain. At 2000m, this peak affords us panoramic vistas and a unique sense of achievement. Our descent takes us back through Pokljuka, with time for a traditional Alpine snack before returning to the picturesque town of Bled.

Hiking Time: Approximately 6 hours | Elevation Gain: 580 m

Our journey continues to Triglav Natural Park, home to the pristine glacial lake of Bohinj. A gondola ride elevates us to our trailhead, from where we hike to Vogel, Slovenia's esteemed ski center. Here, sweeping views and alpine serenity await. The day concludes with a return to Bled, reflecting on the day's wonders.

Immersed in the heart of nature, Velika Planina presents a pristine plateau adorned with traditional shepherd huts. Enjoy the gentle sounds of cowbells and the breeze as we walk through this serene landscape. After a peaceful walk amidst nature, journey to Ljubljana, Slovenia's captivating capital, for an evening of exploration and relaxation.

Our final hiking day unveils the stunning Logarska Valley, a testament to glacial artistry adorned with hiking trails and the impressive Rinka Falls. The ascent to Okrešelj alongside the Savinja River provides a fitting climax to our hiking adventure. The day ends in Ljubljana, offering a last chance to soak in the city's ambiance.
